For many children, loss or hardship creates a void, and through our donations, we strive to fill that gap by offering support and stability.

At Yeshivat Yavneh, these donations provide students who have lost a parent or rely on financial aid with the confidence to approach each day, knowing their basic needs are met.
At Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy, your generosity ensures that students’ voices are heard and their basic needs are met.
By providing essential food, we’re helping create an environment where students can focus on their education and personal growth.
With these resources, they are better equipped to thrive academically and develop the skills and confidence that will shape their future.
Leket Distribution Truck
2025
The Gitel Foundation is proud to have partnered with Leket Israel, the national food bank, in a meaningful collaboration aimed at expanding their food rescue operations.
Through a designated donation, we helped fund a brand-new produce and distribution truck, which will enable Leket to deliver even more fresh, nutritious food to families in need across the country.
In addition to this contribution, we organized a volunteer day at Leket’s logistics center, where our team came together to help sort and pack rescued produce.
This hands-on experience deepened our commitment to combating food insecurity and strengthened our shared mission of ensuring that no food—or person—is left behind.
Gitel’s Holiday Light
Thanksgiving Packaging:
2024
Thanksgiving 2024, The Gitel Foundation brought together volunteers and community members to package over 500 meals for homeless shelters, along with personal care packages for those in need.
This initiative not only provided nourishment but also embodied the values Gitel held dear—giving back, fostering unity, and uplifting our neighbors in Los Angeles.
